A New Global Challenge: Online Hate, Radicalisation, and Youth at Risk

Since September 11, the world has undergone a profound geopolitical transformation. International terrorist networks have increasingly turned to digital channels as spaces to organise, disseminate propaganda, and operate in unpredictable ways.
Online hate speech has become the visible expression of a broader process of radicalisation, intensified by the so-called “war on terror”, the crisis of traditional ideologies, and ongoing geopolitical tensions, such as the Israeli–Palestinian conflict. These dynamics contribute to the spread of dangerous antisemitic and Islamophobic narratives.
