Young Innovators Mobilize Artificial Intelligence for Inclusion at the “Together for the Future” Hackathon

The National Hackathon “Together for the Future” brought together young innovators from across Morocco to explore how artificial intelligence can be used to promote inclusion, critical thinking and democratic values in digital spaces. Organised within the broader Generative AI project, the initiative focused on empowering young people to respond to challenges such as hate speech, misinformation and online discrimination.

Through a multi-stage journey combining training, mentorship and pitching, participants developed ideas aimed at fostering more responsible and inclusive online communities. The hackathon also highlighted the strong engagement of Moroccan youth and the wider project’s commitment to linking innovation, education and social impact.
