Rassd Al-Maghrebe, a Moroccan online news outlet covering current affairs and social initiatives, published an article on the conclusion of the Moroccan National Social Hackathon “Together for the Future,” organised within the wider Generative AI project. The piece presents the hackathon as a collaborative learning journey focused on using artificial intelligence to address hate speech, misinformation and digital discrimination.
The article highlights the strong interest of young people in the initiative, noting that 30 participants were selected from more than 450 applications, and retraces the training path that led to the final pitch day, including workshops on AI for social good, design thinking, ethical digital storytelling and project development.
According to the coverage, the hackathon created a space where youth, innovation and social responsibility could come together, while also offering selected participants the opportunity to represent Morocco at the international final in Italy.
