The project coordinator of the Erasmus+ project “Generative AI – Youth Sector Challenges and Impact” was invited to take part in Episode 1 of the Lighthouse podcast, produced by Marea Media, an independent media organisation focusing on media literacy, journalism and critical information in the Mediterranean context.
The episode explores the connections between misinformation, disinformation and hate speech, drawing on insights from the project’s comparative research across Europe and the Mediterranean. The conversation reflects on how AI-driven digital environments amplify online hate and why ethical, youth-centred approaches to generative AI are essential to counter digital toxicity.
