From Ideas to Impact: The Generative AI Hackathon Concludes with Powerful Youth-Led Solutions

The National Social Hackathon – Together for the Future in Jordan brought together young people, youth workers, educators and professionals to transform ideas into AI-driven solutions addressing hate speech, misinformation and online exclusion. Through training sessions, collaborative teamwork, expert mentoring and a final pitching phase, participants explored how generative AI can be used responsibly to tackle real challenges in digital environments.

Published by our partner Jordan Youth Innovation Forum (JYIF), the article highlights the outcomes of this collaborative journey, from developing practical solutions to strengthening digital skills, critical thinking and ethical awareness. The hackathon also marked an important step towards the International Social Hackathon in Italy, where selected participants would join peers from other partner countries to further develop their ideas.
