From Hammamet to Paola: Emna’s Story Featured in 4C Lab Podcast
The Erasmus+ project Generative AI – Youth Sector Challenges and Impact is featured on 4C Lab Podcast through the story of Emna, a young Tunisian student involved in the project through Euro-Med EVE Tunisia.
The episode retraces a meaningful pathway of learning, confidence-building and international engagement. Emna’s journey began with her participation in the project’s training activities in Hammamet, where young people and youth workers explored the role of Generative AI in addressing key challenges in the youth sector. It then continued in Paris, where she joined an international exchange with peers, experts and project partners, bringing the perspective of Tunisian youth into a broader Euro-Mediterranean dialogue.
Building on this experience, Emna created her own team and took part in the National Hackathon at ITBS, where the team won first place. This achievement reflects the project’s ambition to transform capacity-building into concrete opportunities for young people to develop ideas, skills and leadership.
Her pathway now continues towards the International Hackathon in Paola, Italy, where she is preparing to represent Tunisia together with other young participants from the project partner countries.
This external feature offers a valuable example of how international youth cooperation, responsible engagement with Generative AI and targeted learning opportunities can support young people in becoming active contributors to innovation and social impact.
