On 13 June 2026, Generative AI – Youth Sector Challenges and Impact joined Geografie dell’oppressione, an initiative organised as part of the 25th anniversary celebrations of Cantiere Milano, Italy. Through an online contribution, Caleidoscopio Association brought the project’s perspective into a wider conversation on racial discrimination, inequalities, digital rights and social justice, engaging with an audience of approximately 20 young people and activists.

Developed together with Ndack Mbaye, researcher, writer and gender expert, the contribution explored how stereotypes, racialisation and unequal power relations extend into digital environments, where hate speech and discriminatory narratives can be amplified through online platforms. The discussion highlighted the importance of combining critical thinking, education and collective responsibility to challenge discrimination and promote more inclusive digital spaces.

The event also offered an opportunity to share the project’s journey and introduce AHAPP, the anti-hate application developed within Generative AI, as a practical tool for raising awareness and encouraging more responsible digital communication. By connecting technological innovation with anti-discrimination activism, the initiative extended the project’s reach beyond its international partnership, opening new spaces for dialogue between youth work, digital citizenship and social justice.
