Social Hackathon – Together for Future
The Social Hackathon Together for Future is a three-month blended Hackathon focused on the development of innovative project ideas using Artificial Intelligence in work with vulnerable youth. The Hackathon promotes participatory and inclusive methodologies that explore how AI can be leveraged to foster social impact and counter online hate speech.
The activity involves youth workers, students particularly from STEM backgrounds, with a strong focus on women’s participation and young people interested in technology, innovation, and social change. Designed as a non-competitive experience, the hackathon emphasizes collaboration, learning, and experimentation, with expert mentors supporting participants throughout the process.
The Hackathon concludes with the project’s Final Event in Italy (Paola CS Calabria), featuring a final session and an awards ceremony. A jury composed of institutions, experts, and professionals in the field of online communication will take part in the evaluation of the proposed ideas. Selected projects may be considered for future development and implementation at local or international level.
