Jordanian Youth at the International Generative AI Hackathon in Italy

From Jordan to Italy, young innovators joined peers from across Europe and the Mediterranean for the International Social Hackathon Together for the Future, held in Paola in June 2026. The event brought together participants from six partner countries to exchange ideas, strengthen their digital and creative skills, and explore innovative applications of generative AI to address online hate speech and promote social inclusion.

Published by our Jordanian partner, Jordan Youth Innovation Forum (JYIF), the article highlights the international experience of Jordanian participants and the value of cross-cultural collaboration within the Generative AI – Youth Sector Challenges and Impact project. Beyond the competition, the event provided an opportunity to connect young people, share different perspectives and strengthen a common commitment to more responsible and inclusive digital environments.
